Charlottetown police looking for suspect involved in hit and run

Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit in run in Charlottetown Thursday morning.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Grafton Street and Weymouth Street Aug. 9 around 9 a.m.

A police report said the complainant vehicle was stopped at the lights when the suspect vehicle approached from the rear and struck the stopped vehicle.

The suspect vehicle then backed up and left the area.

The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as a Caucasian woman, and there were possibly children in the back seat.
