SUMMERSIDE – A 23-year-old Calgary man has had his licence suspended for a driving infraction in Summerside.
At about 1 a.m. Sunday, police stopped a vehicle on Central Street due to a traffic infraction. The driver displayed signs of alcohol consumption and was given a roadside screening test, which he failed.
The driver was arrested, but passed a subsequent breathalyzer test. His blood alcohol level was not sufficient to warrant charges but was high enough to require his licence be suspended for seven days.
