Andrew MacMillan has been confirmed as the CEO of the P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission, based on the recommendation of the commission’s board. MacMillan has been serving as acting CEO since March 2015.

Neil Stewart will be the new deputy minister of Finance, effective Sept. 15. Prior to this appointment, Stewart served as deputy minister of Workforce and Advanced Learning, and previously as deputy minister of Economic Development and Tourism. 

David Arsenault, the current deputy minister of Finance, intends to retire in the near future. In the meantime, Arsenault stays on in a part-time role during the transition.
