Woman who died in Brookfield accident identified

A memorial service was held Sunday for the young West Prince woman killed in an accident last week in Brookfield.

Twilla Mary Seymour, 28, of St. Louis, died in the two-vehicle collision.

She was formerly from Harbour Round, N.L.

The accident occurred around 2:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Seymour’s small car collided with a Cardigan Feed Service truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man driving the truck was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.

Seymour is survived by her common-law husband, Darcy Thibodeau, and children Lori Hogan, eight-years-old, and Megan Thibodeau, three-years-old.

Memorial donations are being accepted for a trust fund the children.
