Charlottetown resident looking at assault charges

A 21-year-old Charlottetown resident is facing assault charges following an altercation on Kenwood Circle in the capital city Wednesday. 

  Police officers with Charlottetown Police Services were informed by residents in the area that she and another man were assaulted. Police arrested the accused shortly after arriving at location.  

Police jailed the man. He will be appearing in provincial court at a later date.

  Neither of the two alleged victims sustained serious injuries.
