Man making threats with crowbar now in jail

Charlottetown police get call to incident Wednesday on Garfield Street

Charlottetown Police Services received a complaint of assault and threats at an address on Garfield St., Wednesday evening.

Police arrived and were informed by a complainant that he was threatened by a man carrying a crowbar.

Police arrested the accused male shortly after arriving at location of the complaint.

"(The) accused male, a 40-year-old resident of Charlottetown, was jailed and will be appearing in provincial court at a later date," said a police report issued Thursday.. "No injuries were sustained."
