RCMP seek help finding missing P.E.I. man

William Thomas Sparling, 47, last seen Thursday walking away from residence on Colville Road

Queens District RCMP is seeking the public's help to locate a missing man.

William Thomas Sparling, 47, was last seen walking away from a residence on Colville Road on Thursday, Feb. 25 at approximately 2:00 p.m., says a report issued by the police force Friday afternoon.

His family is concerned for his safety, says the report.

He may have been seen hitch-hiking on Route 2, heading towards the Confederation Bridge around 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Sparling is described as five feet six inches tall and approximately 200 pounds. He has a beard and brown hair, but is noticeably balding on the top.

He was last seen wearing black jeans, a Toronto Maple Leafs sweat shirt, and a Toronto Maple Leafs hat.
