A man from Summerside has been sentenced to 95 days in jail after pleading guilty to several charges, including impaired driving.

On February 22, 38-year-old Adam Gaudet appeared in Prince County provincial court, pleading guilty to driving drunk, driving while disqualified, possession of stolen property, uttering threats, and mischief.

In addition to time in jail, Gaudet was also ordered to pay restitution to the victims affected by his offences, said a court report issued Tuesday by Prince District RCMP.

Gaudet was arrested Feb. 20 after being found driving a  vehicle that had been reported taken from the O’Leary Legion parking. He had crashed the vehicle into a snowbank in O'Leary.

"The RCMP would like thank the public for their assistance (in this matter)," said the report.
