Routine patrol on Francis Lane early today finds suspicious group of youth

Charlottetown Police Service officers noticed a suspicious youth early today, and he was soon under arrest.

"(Officers) were conducting routine patrols early this morning at 4:32 a.m. on Francis Lane when they observed several suspicious males," said a police report.

One of them was recognized to be under a court-ordered curfew and was not to be outside his residence at night.

"The accused male, a 18-year-old resident of Montague, was arrested and will be appearing in provincial court at a later date," said the police report.
