Police called to scene on Garfield Street about 8:30 p.m. Saturday
A drunk driver with twice the legal limit of alcohol was involved in a traffic accident Saturday in Charlottetown.
Charlottetown Police Services got the call just after 8:30 p.m. to the accident on Garfield Street.
Officers arrested one of the drivers, a 59-year-old man from Charlottetown.
"Accused male had in excess of twice the legal amount of alcohol in his blood," said a report issued by the police department.
The man was charged with impaired driving and will be appearing in provincial court at some later date.
