Elizabeth May is planning a stop in Prince Edward Island Tuesday as part of the Green party leader's East Coast tour.

May, P.E.I. Green Leader Peter Bevan-Baker and federal election candidates for the Green party will host two events in Charlottetown.

A ‘Rally in the Garden,’ supporting Food Exchange P.E.I., will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Legacy Garden, 420 University Ave.

A Green Party social will take place at the Charlottetown Legion's Clover Club, 99 Pownal St., beginning at 8:30 p.m.

“I’m looking forward to meeting with P.E.I. residents to discuss the Green party’s plan for a Canada that works together,” said May in a news release.

P.E.I. Green candidates for the Oct. 19 federal election are Lynne Lund for Malpeque, Becca Viau for Charlottetown and Teresa Doyle for Cardigan.
