Single vehicle accident in Charlottetown traps two men

Police get call about 8:30 p.m. Saturday to corner of Oak Drive, Doncaster Avenue

A car flipped on its roof, trapping two people inside Saturday evening in Charlottetown.

Charlottetown Police Services got the call at 8:37 p.m. about the accident scene at the corner of Oak Drive and Doncaster Avenue.

Charlottetown Fire Service used hydraulic tools to cut the car apart to take the men out.

"One of the males was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by Island EMS for treatment of non life threatening injuries," said a statement issued Monday by city police.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision and the  investigation continues, said the statement.
