Police called Sunday to residence on Longworth Ave. for a man causing a disturbance

A Charlottetown man is in jail after causing a disturbance Sunday, then being found in possession of methamphetamine.

Police got the call of a disturbance outside a residence on Longworth Ave Sunday at 4:20 p.m.

After being arrested, the suspect was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine so was furthermore charged for that offence under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, said a statement issued Monday by the police force.

The accused is a 42-year-old resident of Charlottetown and is now in jail waiting for his first appearance in provincial court.
