Charlottetown beating case adjourned

The two men charged with the brutal assault on a man in Charlottetown in December have both had their cases adjourned to later this month.

Michael Robert Bryenton, 36, will remain remanded in custody until his next court date scheduled for Dec. 17 and Jeremy Joseph Cummiskey, 22, will also stay in jail as he awaits his next court appearance on Dec. 22.

Bryenton and Cummiskey have both been charged in the violent attack on Trevor Acorn at the man’s apartment on Euston Street in Charlottetown.

Acorn was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and later transferred to a Halifax hospital.
