Charlottetown police investigating Needs store robbery

Charlottetown police are looking for a female suspect in connection with a robbery at the Needs Convenience story on Brackley Point Road on Aug. 26.

Charlottetown police are investigating a robbery at the Needs Convenience store on Brackley Point Road this morning.

The police received a report that a female entered the store and demanded money at around 7:55 a.m.

A surveillance video shows she was wearing a backpack and a red American Eagle hoodie sweatshirt with the number 68 on the left sleeve.

The sweatshirt’s hood was pulled up over her face and a second hood helped to hide part of her face.

The police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact them at 902-629-4172 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

On Monday, Charlottetown police arrested a female suspect in unrelated thefts from vehicles on Euston Street.

She is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
