A man most likely fell to his death Sunday at UPEI, says the chief coroner.

“The cause of death is multiple injuries consistent with a fall from a considerable height,’’ says Dr. Charles Trainor.

Charlottetown Police were called to the university at about 8 p.m. Sunday.

A Cornwall area man was lying on the ground next to the fire exit at Dalton Hall.

EMS personnel worked on the man at the scene. He was then taken to hospital where he could not be resuscitated.

Police do not suspect foul play.

Trainor says the coroner’s office is still investigating the death. Recommendations will be made at a later date.
