An attempt to get an injunction against a blogger over alleged defamatory comments will be back in court in October after a hearing was adjourned Thursday in P.E.I. Supreme Court.

Scotiabank, ScotiaMcLeod, Eddie Curran and Yousef Hashmi filed an application for an injunction against Rob McEachern to have him remove any material on the Internet related to them that McEachern or someone acting on his behalf posted on the web.

An application hearing was scheduled for Thursday but was adjourned until Oct. 21.

Hashmi and Curran are ScotiaMacLeod employees.

McEachern has posted several items about the applicants on his blog, which they allege are false and meant to discredit their reputations in the Charlottetown community.
