Apparently the party at the Haviland Club went too long.

The club on the corner of Haviland and Water streets in Charlottetown has lost its liquor licence for the weekend.

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended its special premises liquor licence, beginning 9 a.m. today until 9 a.m. Sunday, July 13.

The Liquor Control Commission says a violation of the Liquor Control Act regulations took place under the section that reads, "All licensed premises shall be vacated not later than one-half hour after the prescribed closing hour."
