RCMP were called to a Kingston-area residence Wednesday after a man barricaded himself in his residence with a firearm and fired off a shot.

RCMP received a call at 6 p.m. to respond to an incident in a residence. A reported agitated and armed male had barricaded himself in his home and fired a single shot through a window from what was later found to be a BB gun.
