SUMMERSIDE – The Salvation Army Church in Summerside officially unveiled its new facility Monday.

The long sought after expansion to its Pope Road Extension location now houses its community kitchen, family services and food bank operations. The thrift store stayed in St. Eleanors off the All Weather Highway.

More than 100 people gathered at the facility to share a meal and hear from church and community leaders.
