CORNWALL — Firefighters had to act fast early this morning to put out a fire in the cab of a truck whose trailer was loaded with propane.

A passerby noticed the flames at about 3:10 a.m. at the propane storage facility on W.B. MacPhail Drive in Cornwall.

The North River fire department and Queens District RCMP found the cab on fire with a large cylinder trailer containing propane attached to it.

The provincial fire marshal is investigating.
