P.E.I. RCMP seeking man today in Bonshaw area

Steven MacPhee has been missing since late Wednesday after leaving a local health facility

The RCMP on P.E.I. issued a notice to the public at 1:20 p.m. that it has teams  currently searching for 45 year-old Steven MacPhee in the Bonshaw area.

MacPhee has been missing since late Wednesday after leaving a local health facility.

"RCMP have been in consultation with health officials who confirm that it is in the best interest of Mr. MacPhee to return to the facility," said the notice. "The public is advised not to approach Mr. MacPhee if he is sighted."

MacPhee is described as approximately 5'6", 140-150 pounds with dark hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a sweatshirt with large white stripes. 

"Assistance from the public would be appreciated and anyone who has information about the location of Mr. MacPhee is asked call 911, your local RCMP detachment, or contact P.E.I. Crime Stoppers either online at www.peicrimestoppers.com or by phone 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)."
