Man charged for impaired after cops see “erratic” driving

A 45-year-old Charlottetown area resident was arrested and charged with impaired driving after an incident in the city over the weekend.

Police were conducting routine patrols on Mt. Edward Road, near Woodward Dr., at approximately 10:08 p.m. when they spotted the man driving in an erratic manner.

Police then stopped the vehicle and arrested the man.

He has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and will be appearing in provincial court at later date.
