The annual Queens County Relay For Life gets underway Friday with a cancer survivors victory lap, led by the Belfast Pipes and Drums.

Carrying the banner signed by cancer survivors are R. Blair MacKinnon of Mount Buchanan and his daughter Monica.

Blair was diagnosed with prostate cancer 15 years ago while Monica is dealing with thyroid cancer.

Everyone wearing a yellow t-shirt signed in as a person living with cancer.
