Environment Canada is now saying a winter storm in likely to hit the province Wednesday and has issued a special weather statement.
“A very intense low pressure system is forecast to track over Nova Scotia on Wednesday. Very strong winds and significant snowfall are likely with this system.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended. Please monitor the latest forecasts and warnings from Environment Canada at www.weatheroffice.gc.ca."
