Charlottetown police have posted a video of a woman obtained by a surveillance camera after a city convenience store was robbed overnight.

A 20-year-old Charlottetown woman who robbed a city convenience store last week while armed with a syringe pleaded guilty Thursday in provincial court to a charge of  armed robbery.

Allison Ruth MacKenzie entered the guilty plea before Chief Provincial Court Judge John Douglas.

Just a moment before, she had elected to be tried by a provincial court judge.

Douglas adjourned the case for sentence to April 29, pending the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

MacKenzie's efforts netted her $553.
