Cold night for accident

A Charlottetown Police Services officer investigates the scene of an accident Thursday. Two compact cars, a late-model white Toyota Corolla S and a Pontiac were in collision on the Charlottetown arterial highway at the traffic lights at the end of Kensington Road. The accident, at approximately 9:30 p.m., did not result in serious injuries said an officer at the scene. Temperature was -18 at the time, with a wind-cooling rate equal to -27.
