Paulette Soloman is resigning as CEO of P.E.I. 2014 Inc.

Speaking on behalf of the PEI 2014 Inc. board and community advisory committee, John Horrelt issued a news release stating Soloman has tendered her resignation for personal reasons.

“The PEI 2014 Inc board of directors and community advisory committee is indebted to Ms. Soloman for the vision, energy and passion she has brought to laying the foundation for the sesquicentennial celebrations in 2014," said Horrelt in the release. “We wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”

In 2014, Canadians will mark the 150th anniversary (sesquicentennial) of the historic 1864 Charlottetown Conference, which paved the way to Canadian Confederation. P.E.I. 2014 Inc. is facilitating the planning, promotion and implementation of the sesquicentennial.
