Yesterday, questions arose about the pay gap between future provincial cannabis store workers and existing early childhood workers.

Also Wednesday, Premier Wade MacLauchlan says he is still waiting to hear if a federal environmental review is coming for a Nova Scotia pulp mill’s plan to dump effluent into the Northumberland Strait.

Meanwhile, Green Leader Peter Bevan-Baker said developing a free universal school food program should be a top priority of the P.E.I. government, but Education Minister Jordan Brown said those programs are a “community initiative at its heart.”
