Charlottetown dog owners will be happy to hear the Hillsborough Dog Park is open today.
The park, which was closed last week for maintenance and upgrades, will be open from 8 a.m. until dusk, seven days per week.
The dog park is located off of Acadian Drive in Hillsborough Park and offers more than 27,000 square feet of open green space for dogs to enjoy off-leash activity.
Dog waste bags and waste bins are provided at the park, along with benches for park users to sit as their dogs enjoy their freedom.
As part of the maintenance and upgrades to the dog park, permanent fencing was installed with separate play areas for large breeds and small dogs.
