SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – Leonard Joseph Desroches, 59, of Freetown, has pleaded guilty to driving while also having a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit.

The charge is from April 7 in Summerside.

Desroches was sentenced to serve 45 days in custody and must remain on probation until his time is served. He is also prohibited from driving for 24 months, must pay a $1,000 victim surcharge and $300 in victim surcharge.
