A man stabbed to death last week in Toronto was planning to move back to P.E.I., says his brother.
David Blacquiere, 54, of Angus, Ont. was fatally stabbed on Nov. 14 in a parking lot.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Christopher Enrique Gordon, 18. He is wanted for second-degree murder in connection to the homicide.
Gordon and Blacquiere arrived to the parking lot in the same car, say police, who noted the pair had “some sort of relationship.’’
Darrell Blacquiere says his brother David was an ironworker but he was set to move back to P.E.I. in December to semi-retire and continue refereeing.

He says David was an avid referee in Ontario and has always embraced sports.
David went to Colonel Gray high school and played Island junior hockey with the Charlottetown Abbies and the Sherwood/Parkdale Metros. He also played rugby.
“He was an avid sportsman…that was his main thing – sports,’’ says Darrell.
David, who was separated, is survived by four children.
His parents, Herb and Joan Blacquiere, live in North Rustico.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Central Queens Funeral Home in New Glasgow and will be announced in The Guardian Friday.
