CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Veterans Voices of Canada will hold a Flags of Remembrance event on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Charlottetown Events Grounds.

The ceremony will start off with piping in dignitaries led by the Legion Colour Party, followed by O Canada, prayers, and the ceremonial unfurling of flags. Playing of “The Last Post” will be followed by two minutes of silence.

Guests include Charlene McInnis, Lt.-Gov. Antoinette Perry, Chief Matilda Ramjanttan, and Premier Wade MacLauchlan. Keynote speaker will be Silver Cross Mother, Kathy Bulger.

Light refreshments will be served following the ceremonies. Everyone welcome.
