Driver abandons dirt bike while being pursued by P.E.I. police

The RCMP in Montague have a dirt bike following a pursuit Friday, but now they want the driver who allegedly fled the scene.

It started last Friday afternoon when Kings District RCMP attempted to stop a dirt bike on Gaul Road, in Montague

During the pursuit the bike apparently suffered mechanical issues. The driver abandoned the bike on Ricky Street, said police.

The bike is a 2004 Honda CRF 450R.
