The City of Charlottetown will spend more than $728,000 to purchase five municipal sidewalk tractors.
Council gave the green light at its regular public monthly meeting this month to accept the low bid from Saunders Equipment Ltd.
The tender was publicly advertised and closed on Aug. 31.
Two other submissions were filed, one from Holder Tractors Ltd. in the amount of $817,477 and the other from MacFarland’s Ltd. for $784,576.
