Charlottetown parking restrictions in effect for March 13-14

Meters are all lined up in the snow with no one to feed them as snow clearing operations for parking spaces took a back seat to snow removal on main streets this morning.

The City of Charlottetown's public works department expects to be de-icing and/or clearing and hauling snow Tuesday night.

Vehicle owners are advised that the overnight winter parking restrictions will be enforced between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday throughout the city at the discretion of Charlottetown Police Services.

Anyone parking on city streets during these hours risks being ticketed and/or towed.
