Charlottetown’s arts advisory board held a meeting in March to discuss a partnership with the Mi’kmaq Confederacy of P.E.I. on a public art project.
The board liked the idea of an art installation that is in keeping with traditional and authentic components.
Additionally, board member Barbara MacLeod presented a summary on a public art program to support the growth of public art in downtown Charlottetown.
The board discussed a potential inventory of locations for future art installations. Further discussion on this item was deferred to the next meeting.
