Bedeque Area Historical Museum is holding a strawberry and ice cream social on Sunday, 2-4 p.m., in the Central Bedeque Park, opposite the museum.

Strawberries, shortcake and ice cream will be served.

If the weather is poor, it will be held in the Community Room of the William Callbeck Centre.

Though store-bought ice-cream will be served, there will also be a chance to help make traditional homemade ice cream made from cream, by hand-cranking an ice cream maker.

Entertainment will be provided and there will be raffle and draws for prizes. All proceeds are in support of the museum’s work.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children aged 12 and under (the ticket includes free admission to the museum).
