Four of the Island's popular musical acts come together at St. Paul's Anglican Church in downtown Charlottetown beginning at 7:30 p.m. The church is located at 101 Prince St., corner of Prince and Grafton in downtown Charlottetown. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 and are available by calling Sheila MacKenzie at 902-330-3334 - please leave a message - or by emailing email@example.com. Two of the acts have been around for several years now and have been busy making names for themselves. Treble with Girls and Tip-Er-Back (Clive Currie, Allan Betts, Wade Murray_, recently shared the stage at Treble's winter concert series in Stratford and had a blast. The audience loved the combination, and both bands agreed they couldn't wait to work together again.
Singer and multi-instrumentalist Keelin Wedge and fellow Fiddlers' Sons bandmate, fiddler Courtney Hogan-Chandler, will be performing together in a dynamic duo act. Between the two musicians, they will offer up some of the finest fiddle tunes, songs and guitar-picking on the Island.
Rounding out the program, after a 10-year hiatus, the popular bluegrass group Bluestreak will be on hand for a reunion performance. Together, Larry Campbell, Andy Paynter, Roger Wightman and David Blue have countless Music P.E.I. and ECMA nominations and awards to their credit as well as two albums.
