The March 14 edition of Circle Around the Centre will feature Marlane O'Brien and Margie Carmichael as speakers.

The luncheon will take place at noon in Studio 1 of Confederation Centre of the Arts.

O’Brien and Carmichael will talk about their experience creating “Stories from the Red Dirt Road” which will make its world premiere at The 2018 Charlottetown Festival.

Adapted by O’Brien from the book "And My Name Is...Stories from The Quilt" by Carmichael, it’s a funny, inspiring, heartfelt piece of four Island stories woven together through song and the red dirt road itself that joins our lives together.

Tickets are $25, to be purchased in person at the box office, by phone at 902 566-1267 (toll-free 1-800-565-0278) or online through the box office.

A portion of each ticket purchased will be donated to The Circle Around the Centre Fund of the Confederation Centre of the Arts Foundation. This fund was created by Catherine Hennessey with the purpose to commemorate and celebrate notable individuals and special occasions that have a significant importance or connection to the Centre and its rich history.

Upcoming luncheon speakers include Dean Constable, April 11 and Karen Jans, May 16. A tribute to Brian Burke is planned for June. 13.
