Dino Dunsford and Billy Matthews will headline a fundraising ceilidh at the Winsloe United Church on Monday, Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Dunsford, a well-known award-winning Island recording artist, recently took home Music P.E.I.’s Community Contributor of the Year.
Matthews, a talented musician like his father, the late Neil Matthews, played on the road in Ontario until the family moved back to P.E.I. where he continued his music as a drummer and a singer with the group Urban Outlaws.
The evening will be hosted by Colleen MacPhee. Known as P.E.I.’s Rita MacNeill, MacPhee is a member of A Tribute to Lady Singers of our Century.
The ceilidh is a fundraiser for the church, located at 121 Winsloe Rd, next to the Confederation Trail. The church is wheelchair accessible and offers plenty of parking. There will be a light lunch served.
Tickets are $10 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
