Mooseheads storm back to defeat Rocket in Halifax
BY STAFF Transcontinental Media
The Halifax Mooseheads bounced back from a 4-0 second-period deficit to defeat the P.E.I. Rocket 6-5 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play at the Metro Centre on Saturday night.
Charlottetown native Logan MacMillan had a natural hat trick to spark the comeback, as the Mooseheads scored six unanswered goals and outshot the rocket 45-26 to storm to the victory.
Bryce Swan scored what stood to be the winner at 16:26 of the third period.
Tomas Knotek and Jakub Voracek each had three assists on MacMillan’s goals.
