Security exercise set for Charlottetown Airport this evening
The Guardian
The Charlottetown Airport Authority, in conjunction with the RCMP and the Charlottetown Police Department, would like to notify the public that a security
exercise will be taking place later this evening at the Charlottetown Airport.
The public is advised not to be alarmed by the increased presence of police at the
airport and that certain access points to the Airport and the terminal building may be
closed during the exercise.
There should be no impact on regular flight schedules or
operations.
The exercise is intended to allow the airport and its security partners test their
respective procedures to deal with a real security threat at the airport. This exercise will
be a valuable training tool for all parties involved.
