Busy night for Rocket goaltender 
Cousineau faces over 40 shots in win over Victoriaville

VICTORIAVILLE, QUE. — Marco Cousineau stopped 40 shots and Jarrad Struthers scored twice to lead the P.E.I. Rocket to a 4-1 victory over the Victoriaville Tigres on Wednesday night.
The Rocket (14-9-1-2) has now won four of its last five games, including three straight.
The Tigres (19-8-0-1), who were third overall in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League going into the contest, saw their winning streak end at nine games.
The Tigres finished with their lowest goal total since a 5-0 loss Rimouski on Oct. 18 after scoring a total of 44 goals during their streak.
Chris Doyle and Benjamin Casavant also scored for the Rocket, who will play at Lewiston, Me., on Friday and Saturday night.
Lewiston lost 9-4 to Shawinigan in the other game on Wednesday.
At Victoriaville, Yannie Gourde gave the Tigres a 1-0 lead with his power-play goal at 3:02.
The Rocket came back in the second with two quick goals.
Struthers tied it at 3:10 and Doyle put the Rocket ahead two minutes later.
Casavant made it 3-1 for P.E.I. at 5:10 of the third and Struthers notched his second of the game on the power play at 17:27.
Doyle, Jordan Escott, Christopher Guay, Joel Champagne, Samson Mahbod and Jordon Southorn all had assists for the Rocket.
Cousineau (7-9-0) won for just the third time in his last eight games as the Rocket was outshot 13-4 in the first period and 17-4 in the third.
The Rocket fired 19 shots on Tigres goaltender Kevin Poulin (13-6-0).
The league has announced that Friday’s game between Victoriaville and Val-d’Or has been postponed due to illnesses on the Val-d’Or team.
