Bridges defeats Wilson in Crapaud election Breaking News print this article

CRAPAUD - Trevor Bridges was elected chairperson of the Village of Capaud during municipal elections here Monday.
Bridges defeated incumbent Lea Wilson in the two-person race for chair.
The four councilors elected were Joanne Harvey, Neila Auld, Mike Connolly and Della Ferguson.
Village adminstrator Kathy Nicholson conducted the elections of chairperson and four councilors.
  Following the election, questions were asked about the delay in constructing a new lagoon. Council members reported that containments found in the present one is the cause for the delay, and that council is now working with the department of environment and other goverment departments as to how to dispose of these.
The new chairman also reported that a new well is being drilled in Sherwood Forest to serve the residents there .

Same projects not going anywhere.... must be nice to get an annual bonus and not have to do any work.
