P.E.I. #5 in ranking of islands 
The Guardian
Condé Nast Traveler magazine has released its 2008 Readers' Choice Awards, placing Prince Edward Island at number 5 on its list of Top 10 Islands in North America.
The categories for judging islands in the North America section includes activities, ambience, beaches, friendliness, lodging, restaurants, and scenery.
The 72.4 score Prince Edward Island received moved the Island to fifth place, one better than last year's rankings, in the top ten.
Condé Nast Traveler magazine has won numerous awards and has a circulation of more than 800,000. The November 2008 issue of Condé Nast Traveler can be found on local news stands.

Real islands have golf courses. All too many of them.
