Ducks sign Islander to NHL contract Logan MacMillan agrees to a three-year, entry-level deal

The Anaheim Ducks signed Winsloe's Logan MacMillan to a three-year, entry-level contract.
The NHL team made the announcement on its website on Tuesday.
As per club policy, financial terms were not disclosed.
MacMillan, 19, collected 15 goals and 26 assists in 46 games with the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season. MacMillan also appeared in 15 playoff games for the Mooseheads, recording three goals and 10 assists while helping lead his team to the QMJHL semifinals for the second consecutive season.
In 2006-07, he won the Steele Ford Lincoln Trophy as Halifax’s best defensive forward.
He was selected by Anaheim in the first round (19th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
He is the son of former NHLer Bob MacMillan, who played for New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, Atlanta Flames, Calgary Flames, Colorado Rockies, New Jersey Devils and Chicago Blackhawks from 1974-85. He won the Lady Byng Trophy in 1979.
