Head-on crash Friday in King's county, P.E.I. sends everyone to hospital
The Guardian
A head on collision Friday in Kings County sent all passengers to hospital, report the Kings District RCMP.
The two-vehicle head-on collision happened about 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of the Iona and Selkirk Roads.
Island EMS and the Belfast fire department attended the scene. All occupants were taken to hospital and one was transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown.
Alcohol was not believed to have been a factor, said the press release.
“RCMP would like to take this opportunity to remind travelers that seat belts are mandatory and can greatly reduce the chances of injury in motor vehicle collisions,” says a final paragraph in the RCMP press release. “Police would also like to remind motorists to be cautions while traveling. It is critical to pay attention at all times.”

BOB from ONT writes: I hope everyone is o k but when are we going to the message that seatbelts save lives ...We should take it one step farther and say if you get injuried in a car crash and no seatbelt was worn then no coverage no matter who is at fault
