Not only is the Charlottetown Police Service website a major hit with the public, it appears to be just as popular with those who have committed crimes.
Coun. Rob Lantz, chair of the police committee, reports the site — www.charlottetownpolice.com — had 10,000 hits alone the day it went live on Feb. 22 and has even helped police nab a suspect or two.

Shea says Canada is lobbying member countries to win their support in preventing this from happening. (more)9:17 AM

Federal Fisheries Minister Gail Shea has every right to be upset with P.E.I.'s Finance Minister Wes Sheridan because the province loves to blame their problems on the feds every chance it gets.
Minister Shea says P.E.I. lost $3 million, not $26 million, due to changes in the equalization formula and Sheridan will have to tighten his belt instead of blaming the feds for his financial problems. (more)9:18 AM
