The Prince Street churches of downtown Charlottetown are planning seven Lenten luncheon services.
The series is entitled “Who Is Jesus? - The Seven Signs from the Gospel of John.” The services will take place on Wednesdays from Feb. 14 to March 28 from 12:10-12:50 p.m.
The condensed services of worship are followed by a lunch. Those people returning to work are encouraged to go to the front of the lunch line.
The special series will conclude with a Holy Week evening service at St. Dunstan’s.
The following is the service schedule and location:
Feb 14: St. Paul’s – Jesus turns water into wine;
Feb 21: First Baptist – Jesus heals the official’s son;
Feb 28: Zion – Jesus heals at Bethesda;
March 7: Trinity – Jesus feeds 5,000;
March 14: Salvation Army – Jesus walks on water;
March 21-Central Christian – Jesus heals the man born blind;
March 28: 7 p.m. - St. Dunstan’s – Jesus raises Lazarus.
There is no cost and those attending are encouraged to bring a friend.
